What do I need to set up a Digital Signage system?
The implementation of a digital signage system requires a display and a media player. Continuity uses the Apple TV as the digital signage player, but it is also possible to use an iPhone or iPad in playback mode.
You will be able to create and manage the visual and musical content on your screen with the Continuity App available for iPhone and iPad from anywhere in the world, you just need an internet connection. The channel will be downloaded on the Apple TV or on the iPhone or iPad (if you use them as players) and will only use the internet connection to download new content when there is new content because they store the channel locally thanks to the SuperCache.
To set up a digital signage system with Continuity you need:
- An HD, Full HD, 4K or 8K display.
- An Apple TV that will act as a digital signage player.
- An iPhone or iPad to create and edit your channel that you can also use as a digital signage player.
